Jims Search For Cal Ripken Jr.
Hi, my name is Jim and I have been collecting Cal Ripken Jr. cards for over 20 years. Although I have just over 3600 cards in my collection there are still many more cards I am looking for. Up until 2002 I attended card shows almost every week, bought cards on eBay and traded on-line and with friends. From 2003 on I got away from collecting cards for about 6 years. Needless to say there are a lot of newer Ripken cards I am looking for.I also collect several other players. They include: Ozzie Smith, Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr., Frank Thomas, Nomar Garciaparra, Jim Abbott and Phil Plantier. Yes, Phil Plantier (he tossed a ball to my son when I took him to his first baseball game at Fenway Park). I just had to collect his cards. Although my primary focus is on Cal Ripken Jr. I would consider trading for cards of these players as well.
The cards that I already have or that I am looking for are too extensive to manage and list. Besides, there is no way I could fit everything on my SCF page. I would gladly review any lists you may have.
